Professional Drone Services on Vancouver Island

I provide professional drone services across Vancouver Island for businesses, construction projects, and one-off aerial work.

Most jobs are simple. Show up, fly, get what you need, and send it over. No dragging things out, no overcomplicating it.

If you need a better look at something from above — whether that’s for documentation, marketing, or just figuring something out — that’s where this makes sense.

I’m Transport Canada Advanced-certified, insured, and every flight is planned properly before a drone ever leaves the ground.

What This Usually Looks Like

Most drone work is quick and low-impact.

A typical job is:

  • 20–60 minutes on site

  • a short, planned flight

  • photos or video delivered after

In a lot of cases, it’s just a faster and safer way to see something that’s hard to check from the ground.

Common Uses

Most of the work I get falls into a few categories.

Construction & Project Work
Progress tracking, site documentation, before-and-after shots, and general visibility over a project. It’s a simple way to keep a record of what’s happening without sending someone into awkward or unsafe spots.

Business & Property
Restaurants, hotels, commercial properties, or anything where location actually matters. A few clean aerial shots can go a long way for websites and social media.

General & One-Off Work
Inspections, quick checks, property overviews, or just getting a better perspective on something. If a drone can replace a ladder, scaffolding, or guesswork, it’s usually worth doing.

A Safer Way to Get Eyes on Something

This is one of the biggest advantages.

Instead of putting someone on a roof or into a bad position, you can get clear photos or video from above without the risk.

Flights are planned to avoid people, property, and anything that doesn’t need to be involved. It’s straightforward, controlled, and done properly.

Typical Pricing

This is where people tend to overthink things.

Most jobs fall into a pretty simple range.

A basic aerial session — photos, video, or a mix — is usually in the $200–$300 range, depending on what you need.

If you’re looking for something more involved, like a cleaned-up video, multiple clips, or specific edits, that can push things a bit higher depending on the time involved.

For anything larger, ongoing, or more detailed, it’s easier to just talk through it and price it properly.

No packages for the sake of it — just charge based on what actually makes sense.

How It Works

It starts with a quick conversation.

What you need, where it is, and whether it’s actually doable.

I’ll check the airspace, look at the location, and make sure it can be done safely and legally. If it can’t, you’ll know upfront.

If it works, I show up, get the footage, and send it over. That’s it.

What You’ll Receive

Depending on the job, you’ll get:

  • high-resolution aerial photos

  • stabilized 4K video clips

  • simple, usable edits if needed

No fluff — just something you can actually use.

If you need something specific, it’s better to say that early so it can be planned properly.
